The first 6 months of 2014 have past so quickly it only seems 4 weeks ago we sent out our first newsletter. I am pleased to hear, from you, our readers, that this new step in communication is appreciated and contributes towards awareness of TechNed®’s added value to your organization.
As promised we hereby update you on the newest member in our product range, the TechNed® Benelux EJB-series. This series is a range of certified flameproof (Ex d) control boxes which can be built to customer’s specifications, of course within the limitations of the certificate and dissipation. These enclosures can be supplied in aluminium and stainless steel 316L. The assembly of these EJB enclosures is done at our factory in Spijk where we welcome you to see our production and assembly.
The annual PCIC meeting, this year held in Amsterdam, has been well attended by manufacturers and users of explosion proof products, both foreign and domestic. In the field of lighting there were presentations on LED lighting and how to look at the future of it. The general conclusion is that for hazardous area lighting for general purpose the fluorescent lighting fittings will for long be the best solution available related to cost, maintenance, light quality and even energy consumption whereas for signaling and floodlighting, the LED’s are a good and solid solution.
TechNed is also proud to inform you that the seminar ‘Hazardous Areas’ has been well attended by manufacturers, engineering companies, contractors and end user. In this newsletter more information will be given about this seminar.
The same applies to the seminar done by our Czech partner, Double Power!! where the Czech customers and contractors were presented TechNed®’s solutions in combination with the applicable guidelines and regulations.
From Q3, TechNed is also able to assist you on your needs when it comes to aeronautical obstruction lighting (AOL). Together with a well-established Italian manufacturer of LED AOL TechNed is now able to offer you a wide range of obstruction lighting including control when required.
