Tuesday, April the 4th TechNed Benelux hosted the seminar “Explosion Safety in practice” in the northern part of Holland. A lot of new participants joined us at the Theater & Congrescentrum de Molenberg in Delfzijl.
Firstly, Bert Vries of Kiwa gave a presentation on ATEX codes and documents for the explosive gas environments followed by the modular structure of the conformity judgement and protection for explosive dust environments.
During the lunch break the participants had the opportunity to take a look at some TechNed products such as TNAML lighting fixture, cable glands, electrical junction boxes, stainless steel junction boxes.
After the lunch break the seminar continued with presentations of Michiel Bakker of MIBEX about the new ATEX 114 guidelines and inspection, maintenance and repairs according to ATEX 153. A lot of questions were asked and answered. After the presentations were finished there was time to network while enjoying a drink and a snack.
