Tuesday, May 17th TechNed Benelux hosted the seminar “Explosion Safety”. More than 50 participants joined us at the Carlton Oasis Hotel in Spijkenisse.

Firstly, Bert Vries of Kiwa gave a presentation on Conformity Judgement ATEX 114/153 followed by the ATEX 114/153 codes and inherent documents.
During the lunch break the participants had the opportunity to take a look at some TechNed products such as TNAML lighting fixture, MAG street lighting, cable glands, electrical junction box and stainless steel junction boxes.
After the lunch break the seminar continued with presentations of Michiel Bakker of MiBEx about the new ATEX 114 guidelines and inspection, maintenance and repairs according to ATEX 114. A lot of questions were asked and answered. After the presentations were finished there was time to network while enjoying a drink and a snack. Next time we hope you will all join us again while we treat the subjects you have brought in on the evaluation forms.
