Last year we as TechNed Benelux B.V. organized a seminar in the Netherlands and as best practice proves our Distributor Double Power!! organized their own seminar on the 4th of June this year. The attendance were 30 people from different companies from the Czech republic. The goal was to share knowledge with the clients in the world of EX lighting, They invited guest speakers to talk in their respected fields.
Mr. Jan Pohludka from FTZU (Notified body) had two presentations, the first presentation was Ex norms how to read them and how to apply them. The second one was about Atex 2014 and the new installation rules.
Mr. H. Flegr from MERO talked about best practice with TNAML light fixtures at their tank storages.
A workshop gave the clients “best practice” information about the way of installing light fixtures and to see the quality of the light fixtures. This part was appreciated by many of the guests because they have had similar problems when you start switching lights from other suppliers. At the end of the workshop everybody agreed that the TNAML was the fixtures that had the best overall performance and that installation was very user friendly.
After the workshop Mr. Jan. Pohludka did his third and final presentation of the day, this was about Ex d enclosures and how to apply the Atex rules.
The day ended with handing out the certificates for attending the seminar.
The overall feeling was very positive and Double Power next seminar will be in Slovakia.
