In cooperation with DoublePower!!, Technor Benelux has realised its first project with the TNAML® lighting fixtures in the Czech Republic.
MERO ČR, a. s. (International Pipeline), owner and operator of the Czech part of the Družba pipeline and the IKL pipeline for crude oil, is the only conveyor of crude oil in the Czech Republic and the most important company for storage of the strategic emergency crude oil reserves. Both pipelines enter in the “Central Crude Oil Tank Farm Nelahozeves‘ where there are 16 storage tanks with a capacity of 1.550.000m3.
The reason for chosing TNAML® is the fact that it is maintenance free and results in major savings on maintenance costs.
In the beginning of September the first storage tank has been equipped with the TNAML® luminaires. End of the year the performance will be evaluated and how to take the next step in reducing the maintenance costs for the complete facility.
